The Kirkland Downtown Association is proud to introduce Nikkie Cooper, our new Volunteer Chair.  If you are a business who is looking for volunteer opportunities for your employees, if you are retired and are looking for a new experience, if you want to make new friends, or love our beautiful city of Kirkland and wish to learn more about the city, its people and our events, contact Nikkie and she will find your the volunteer opportunity of your dreams.

Kirkland Clean Sweep

Join forces to clean up Downtown Kirkland on EARTH DAY!  Next time you are walking through town, just look down – and you will see why this is really needed!  We clean up the litter, pull weeds, and polish and sweep up this town.  Come prepared with gloves, grubby clothes, and a tool of your choice – brooms, shovels, crack hoes, rakes, etc.

Kirkland Wednesday Market

From June through September – the Farmer’s Market in Kirkland is the place to be!  We need help with setting up, putting out signs, helping at the information booth, the fundraising booth, and take down.

We would love to have consistent volunteering, so if you can sign up for as many positions as possible, it would be wonderful!

Kirkland Summerfest 2018

Before you know it, we will be celebrating with our biggest community event of the year – Summerfest 2018!  Three days of fun.  We couldn’t do it without your volunteer assistance!  Of course you will get our awesome Summerfest Volunteer t-shirt and a lot of appreciation for helping out.  Spread the word!

APRIL 2017

Our volunteers are the backbone of Kirkland Downtown Association.  Without our volunteers there would be no downtown events and it would look very shabby indeed.  So we have a very special ShoutOut to our most current volunteers who helped make Kirkland beautiful for the Spring and Summer, at last Saturday’s Kirkland Clean Sweep in Kirkland Downtown.
