Join us in Marina Park for fun fall festivities. Specifically designed for children in costume, this family-friendly fall harvest festival includes carnival games, vendors, sweet treats, a dog costume contest, professional pumpkin carving and more.
Merchant Trick or Treating starts at 1:00 PM at participating stores.

Meet us under the snowflakes. In conjunction with Kirkland Urban’s exciting Winter Program, our Seasonal Winter Market is back and will feature artisanal crafts and delights that are perfect for holiday gifts and treats. Bring your family and friends and stroll around the wintery decorated plaza while you shop, play and visit.

In addition to Winterfest and putting up lights downtown, the Kirkland Downtown Association stations a mailbox downtown for kids to drop off letters to Santa. The best part? Santa replies! Want to join in on the fun and become part of the elves who reply? Make sure you’re on our volunteer list.
Where: Santa’s mailbox will be stationed on the SE corner of Lake Street and Kirkland Ave, next to Homegrown.

A gift to the community right along the Cross Kirkland Corridor, Google and SRM Development have created a wonderland of thousands of colored lights. Kirkland will welcome this nightly celebration with a campus fair including food, petting zoo, carolers, and games. Kirkland’s mayor flips the switch precisely at 5:30 pm.

Our Gingerbread House Competition is back! All participants will have the opportunity to have their completed design displayed in participating merchant shops across downtown Kirkland for the viewing public. Winners will be announced via social media and will receive a special prize.
Below is the timeline for this competition:
- Nov 16 – Dec 5 (Application open)
- Dec 5 – Application closes at 5:00 pm
- Dec 6-8 – Drop off period (you will be notified via email where to drop off your completed designs)
- Dec 9-30: Public viewing and voting period
- Dec 30 – Winners announced via social media
- Week of Jan 2 -6: Prizes will be delivered
