July 16th – Harmonica Pocket
Port Townsend based band The Harmonica Pocket makes Indie Acoustic Folk for Northwest families with kids.
Live shows incorporate a looping device to build a band right in front of the audience’s ears. Each instrument is played one at a time to create layers of sounds – guitar, bass, ukulele, wah-wah guitar and harmonica.
Shows are acoustic, upbeat and audiences are drawn in with catchy, melodic, well-written songs. Plenty of humor, improvisation and play are sprinkled on top. Unexpected props and a suitcase of unusual “musical instruments” keep audiences laughing and tapping their toes.
The Harmonica Pocket’s current groovy-green family album “Sing Your Song” was recorded on a tiny island in the Pacific Northwest using solar electricity and is available for listening on your preferred streaming platform.
