Barbie Collins Young joined the Kirkland Downtown Association in 2013 as the Events and Development Manager. Her passion for the community and desire to truly make a difference is what drew her to the KDA.

She has over 20 years’ experience in operations, customer service, sales, marketing, recruiting and training in high profile positions.  Her experience as a Senior Regional Vice President of a direct sales company where she led a National Team of sales people and produced hundreds of events was a natural fit to over-seeing the KDA.

She is truly committed to ensuring that the people of Kirkland have the highest quality of life, from the businesses, community, to the visitors who enjoy our beautiful city.
